(4) Crossroads Mailing list
During the past year, UAEDI has chosen to focus most of its efforts on the "regional partnerships" aspect of its core activities, especially in the Arkansas Delta. We have used our website to provide information about two exciting regional efforts, the 6-county Cornerstone Coalition in the extreme southeastern part of Arkansas, and the 10-County Crossroads Coalition that falls within about a 75-mile radius of Memphis, TN. Likewise, we've had the opportunity to talk to leaders in the 7-county North Central Arkansas Regional Economic Development region and hope to be able to partner more with them in the future.
But, most recently it has been the Crossroads Coalition with whom UAEDI has invested most of its efforts. In being respectful of the amount of email that we send to you, UAEDI has two electronic mailing lists, one for UAEDI colleagues (~ 1 mailing per month) and a subset of the UAEDI list which focuses on the Crossroads Coalition (which has a lot more email traffic). Occasionally, there is some overlap, and this is one such time.
To keep your reading to a minimum, I simply want to highlight some upcoming events as well as a new source of information about the Crossroads.
